When you're consumed by the campaign, as we are now, it's hard to imagine that this time in just three weeks' time, it will all be over - it will be the day after the election and we'll know if we've won or lost (or, on a national level, somewhere in the middle? Who knows?).
Last night, when you were perhaps watching Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Nick Clegg battle it out on TV, I was listening to a number of people from the Somali community in Edmonton tell me about their concerns. Even though the campaign's on and I'm no longer officially the MP, only the PPC, the casework keeps rolling in and people still need helping. And, of course, we're still here to help them as much as we can.
It's been a busy first week, but it's only going to get busier. I've got a packed diary for the next few weeks and, without the constraints of Parliament, I'll be out and about in Edmonton more than ever. I hope the sun continues to shine for it!
Happy electioneering,
Andy
